What's Brewing in the Atelier

June 29, 2026

Okay, I'll be honest with you. The lab has been a little chaotic lately. In the best possible way.

There are three things on my bench right now that I can't stop thinking about, and I figured — why keep them a secret? Well. A partial secret. You'll see what I mean.

Water Lily started as an obsession with a single material: nymphaea caerulea, blue lotus absolute. If you've never smelled it, imagine something aquatic but not watery, floral but not pretty, ancient but somehow completely modern. It's been sitting in my head for months. I keep reaching for it. I keep building around it. I'm not done yet — but when I am, I think it's going to be something genuinely strange and beautiful.

Worth the wait. I promise.

The second one doesn't have a name yet, which feels appropriate because it smells like something that hasn't been named yet either. Wild mint. Basil. Green and bright and just a little bit dangerous. It's the freshest thing I've ever made and I am absolutely terrified of messing it up. So I'm going slow. You'll thank me later.

And then there's the third — grapefruit and vetiver. Citrus and earth. Sunshine and something older than sunshine. I keep describing it as "for people who love summer but would never admit it," which is either very clever or completely meaningless. Possibly both.

None of these are finished. None of them are available yet. But the atelier is alive and loud and smells incredible in here, and I wanted you to be part of it — even just a little.

More soon. I mean it this time.
